Work Home Idea: Appointment Setter

Many people know the role of an appointment setter but think that it may involve sales. Though appointment setting is exactly what it states; just setting appointments. And many companies hire appointment setters to work from home making anywhere between $7-$16 per hour and may even include bonuses if the rep manages to make a sale.

However, if you have experience talking to clients, have been an active participant in customer service and do not mind cold calling businesses, then there is no reason why you can't market your own appointment generating services locally. There are many professionals that would benefit from your services. Anyone that deals with door-to-door sales, real estate agents, doctors, lawyers, and especially independents. We're talking party planners, consultants, interior designers, pest control, and more. Every company has clients and if their business is done face-to-face, then you can provide an appointment service for them.

It will be important for you to sign a non-disclosure agreement with your clients to ensure their privacy of their clients and company business. Also make sure that your rates are explained and are appropriate to services rendered.

You want to make sure that market your services well. You don't want to bother professionals at the wrong time. You can always use mail or email, and then follow up with a phone call. If you leave a professional message and they are in need of your services, they will contact you. But you don't want to be pushy.

You can gain more experience by landing a work home job with a company that hires work home appointment setters. There are many that do and lots of postings on the net for them daily.

Here are some companies that hire below:
