Garage Sale Organizer

There are tons of garage sales happening every weekend in your area; and it takes a lot of work to set it up. Some are successful. Some aren't. There are people who plan weeks in advance and some how are still left with a huge amount of merchandise after it's over. So why not relieve some of their stress. Act on their behalf as their garage sale expert and offer to run their event. For your services, you'll get paid a flat fee or commission on items sold.

Help categorize the merchandise, labeling items, negotiating with customers and marketing the sale before launch date. This is one of those jobs that will require additional help. But if you hire the right kind of professional assistants, you can have a great weekend earner. Give your group a fun name and market your services around town as such.

You'll need a good vehicle for supplies, signs, and other promotional materials. The best way to get the word out about a garage sale is just getting the word out. Many people leave little signs near highway the location is closest to. You can do this as well. But cafes, gyms, local shops, childcare centers, health food stores, and local online forums are great ways of promoting the sale.

Let your clients know that you'll be saving them time and money as well as making the customers feel welcomed and letting them know feature items they may be interested in getting before anyone else gets it.

Top degrees and years of experience are not needed for this field; just lots of great communication and wonderful customer service.
